Coaching speaks to me because of the opportunity to engage in deep conversations that touch the deepest core of our lives. I am very interested in working with individuals and couples, especially in the context of relationships and our daily lives. My intention is to hold space so that the coach and the client can go as deep as they are willing, together. I view the coach-client relationship as one of two friends exploring their daily lives together, rather than as a hierarchical dynamic and bring to bear to the coaching practice my educational background in Psychology as well as a deep interest in self enquiry and ontological frameworks. My wider interest in non-dual spiritual teachings and meditation brings richness and depth to my coaching practice. I have been a reasonably serious meditator for about 8 years now.
I have two Masters degrees – one in Cognitive Psychology and another in Consumer Behavior, both from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. My undergraduate degree is in Engineering from Bangalore, India.
I have 15+ years of experience working in top-tier management consulting firms (McKinsey & Company, Bearing point) as well as at start-ups. I have done software marketing in silicon valley, both as an employee and as a consultant. Here is my Linkedin Profile. In case you are curious about the corporate work I have done, check out GrowthFusion.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Santa Clara Country Psychological Association (SCCPA), the Society of Consulting Psychology (SCP) and the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
I contribute on Quora, from time to time. Here are some answers I have written.
I also run a non-profit, the Center for Self Enquiry, whose intent is to foster interest and dialogue around non-dual spiritual teachings.
